The Man of Steel and his family are moving from the hustle and bustle of Metropolis back to the Kent farm in Smallville on the CW’s Superman & Lois, and it looks like they’re already getting housewarming guests.
The show has now found its Morgan Edge, the businessman who has been described as an “intelligent, eloquent and impassioned self-made mogul whose innate ability to motivate is the means to his success and others’ demise.”

In this new world, Morgan Edge will be played by Adam Rayner. Rayner is known for starring in FX’s Tyrant, where he played Barry Al-Fayeed.
Superman & Lois Gets An Edge
The role will be a series regular one, which means that Ryaner’s Morgan Edge will definitely be involved with Tulloch & Hoechlin’s Lois and Clark.
This will be the 3rd iteration of the mogul turned villain to be displayed on the small screen, as he was previously portrayed by Rutger Hauer and Patrick Bergin during the 3rd season of Smallville and was played by Adrian Pasdar in Supergirl’s 3rd season.
In both those renditions, Edge has been a side villain without much power outside of the business world. Hopefully in the new series, he will play a bigger role that’s closer to his foreboding presence in the comics.
