It’s been six years since the MCU introduced Marvel’s most unique Superheroine, Wanda Maximoff.
First appearing in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and making her grand formal debut on Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Wanda (also known as Scarlet Witch) has been a central fan favorite character in the MCU. Star actress Elizabeth Olsen has brought the character to life in the most unique way while keeping traits of her comic book counterpart, and fans around the world were delighted to watch Wanda progress throughout the years.

Yes, she has appeared in five MCU movies, but they were either cameos or supporting role. Now, she will finally have her own series that focuses on her and her partner Vision. WandaVision will be the most unique project that Marvel Studios has ever done, and also it’s first main digital TV Series.
WANDA MAXIMOFF THROUGHOUT THE MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE
The series will officially kick start Phase 4 of the MCU, and fans are very excited. To celebrate and get fans ready for the premiere of WandaVision, Marvel Entertainment has recently a released a new video chronicling the heroine’s journey by walking through her MCU appearances in slideshow form.
At the start of the video slideshow, we see Wanda first meeting with the Avengers in Age Of Ultron before being shown how she famously allied herself with Ultron himself and then became an Avenger during the Battle Of Sokovia. We are then shown images of her in Captain America: Civil War, such as her undercover mission in Lagos, the Sokovia Accords meeting, breaking out of Avengers Headquarters, and the airport battle against Team Iron Man.
More recently, there is her role in Avengers: Infinity War, fighting against the Black Order of Thanos’ children, being reunited with the Avengers, and the battle of Wakanda. While she didn’t participate as much in Avengers: Engame, we are shown epic last battle against Thanos and his army before seeing the grand finale of her and Vision in their upcoming series WandaVision.
Olsen’s portrayal of Maximoff will forever be a legendary staple in the MCU. Fans and audiences have seen the character grown before their very eyes. From a supporting character to a full-fledged iconic Avenger and main player, let’s just say we will be seeing more of Wanda Maximoff in many projects in the near future.
Besides her upcoming series, we will be seeing her again in theaters when Doctor Strange and The Multiverse Of Madness comes out. However In a few days fans will finally see Wanda Maximoff in her true potential and possibly become the Scarlett Witch on Wandavision.
