Oscar Isaac has been filming the upcoming Marvel Disney+ series, Moon Knight, in Budapest since April. Recently, Isaac stopped into Comic-Con@Home to drop a few words about the upcoming series:
“I’m here on the set of Marvel’s Moon Knight. We’re deep into it over here, it’s been going great. It’s gonna be a wild, wild show and I’m excited to talk about it in the future.”

Not much said! Somewhat more interestingly, Isaac indirectly revealed some of the concept art for the show on the walls around him in the video. Mazes, crescent moon imagery, and plenty of action shots straight from the comics! That must be one super cool room to be in.
Led by head writer Jeremy Slater and main director Mohamed Diab, the series is expected to wrap production by early September in time for a release in early 2022. Not much is known about the series, but we know that Oscar-nominated actor Ethan Hawke will play the main villain.
Moon Knight stars Oscar Isaac as Marc Spector / Moon Knight as well as May Calamawy and Ethan Hawke in undisclosed roles.
