Good news! Fans of the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion can now pre-order a limited-run collection’s edition set, standard, and digital download set of the anime.
GKIDS is an American film distributor based in New York, mainly known for distributing Japanese animations announced that the limited edition collection will have three new formats to include the original twenty-six episode television series, NEON GENESIS EVANGELION, as well as the films EVANGELION: DEATH (TRUE) 2 and THE END OF EVANGELION. These editions join the previously announced Ultimate Edition and for the first time ever, NEON GENESIS EVANGELION will be available on Blu-ray in North America.
GKIDS Announce Neon Genesis Evangelion Collectors and Standard Edition Sets
The NEON GENESIS EVANGELION Collector’s Edition is a deluxe 11-disc set presented in a rigid case, containing a 40-page book, 8 art cards, the Official Dub and Subtitled versions, and the bonus Classic Dub and Subtitled versions. The Collector’s Edition set contains over seven hours of bonus features including animatics, TV commercials, music videos, Japanese cast auditions, trailers, and more. This limited-edition set will be available online through select outlets, and is now available for pre-order, arriving December 8, 2021.
The Standard Edition is an essential five-disc set that will contain over five hours of bonus features, including animatics, TV commercials, music videos, and more. The Standard Edition will be widely available in stores and online wherever Blu-ray box sets are sold, and is now available for pre-order, arriving November 9, 2021. NEON GENESIS EVANGELION, as well as the films EVANGELION: DEATH (TRUE)2 and THE END OF EVANGELION also arrive on digital download to own platforms on November 2, 2021.
NEON GENESIS EVANGELION is also available as an Ultimate Edition set. Strictly limited to 5,000 copies for North America, the NEON GENESIS EVANGELION: Ultimate Edition is sold exclusively through the GKIDS STORE (with a limit of 1 per customer). For fans in the United Kingdom, the NEON GENESIS EVANGELION: Ultimate Edition is distributed by Anime Ltd.
