Bullet Train promises high-speed off the rails action and wit in a new trailer.
Sony Pictures has released a new trailer for their upcoming action-thriller, Bullet Train, set to arrive only in theaters on August 5, 2022. The film stars Brad Pitt as Ladybug, an out-of-retirement assassin whose first job back is a bit more than he anticipated, as what was supposed to be a simple retrieval turns into multiple fights for his life with no way off the train. The close-quarters of the train ensures combat, encounters, and comedy in what is shaping up to be the summer’s big and bloody action flick. Check out the trailer below.
Bullet Train Official Trailer 2
The second trailer for Sony PIctures’, Bullet Train, provides a lot more story than the previous trailer. Brian Tyree Henry and Aaron Taylor-Johnson are referred to as The Twins. Which, they don’t look the part, but somehow it seems to really work for their characters and their whole vibe. Bad Bunny’s character had a previous run-in with Lady Bug. Though the exact incident that sends him on his vengeful journey isn’t shown, Ladybug’s explanation of death following him around provides a likely direction and conclusion to their first encounter. The trailer also gives us glimpses of more characters not showcased in the original.

Where the movie seems to really shine is the dialogue. Ladybug’s reactions to the situations he’s in, whether it be being randomly stabbed by a person he does not recall meeting, telling an assassin he knows what the poison she’s trying to use does and getting annoyed when she continues to explain anyway, or punching a mascot because it won’t give him his stuff, it just feels right. Ladybug, despite being a highly capable assassin, just seems to get it and does not fail to recognize the crazy action he’s in the middle of is really crazy. Look into the crazy a little more with image stills of the film from Sony Pictures.
