Jason David Frank Shares Legend Of The White Dragon‘s Plans
When The Illuminerdi reached out to Jason David Frank for comment, he was only too happy to express his pleasure at the success of the Kickstarter fundraiser thus far. He even mentioned some of the costume plans, saying:
It’s amazing to see us reach our first goal right away. Now we’re off to our stretch goals. This whole new universe is going to be amazing. Thank you to all of the fans and thank you to Team Legend of the White Dragon.
One of the reasons for launching the Kickstarter in the first place was so that the creative team wouldn’t be beholden to higher ups holding the purse strings in terms of story decisions, so it’s great to see that the film can move forward on its own terms. This is especially good news for fans who would like to see a Power Rangers story with more adult themes, since Legend of the White Dragon is aimed at lovers of the original who have grown up with the series.
