The Batman, Mission Impossible and some other big productions have been given the go ahead to resume production this summer in the UK.

The UK government announced on Sunday that a limited number of essential individuals working on major productions will be allowed to be part of an exclusive group who are exempt from quarantine rules, so long as those travelling to the country live and work in controlled “bubbled” environments, which only includes their production and accommodation locations. This includes projects like The Batman, Mission Impossible, Jurassic World: Dominion, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 3 and Disney’s Live-Action The Little Mermaid.

Matt Reeve’s The Batman was in production for seven weeks, until it was put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic. The cast includes: Robert Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz, Andy Serkis, Jeffrey Wright, Colin Farrel and Paul Dano.

Mission Impossible 7&8 were filming in Italy until the coronavirus outbreak. The cast includes: Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Rebeca Ferguson, Hayley Atwell, Vanessa Kirby, Pom Klementieff and Esai Morales.

Disney’s The Little Mermaid cast includes: Halle Bailey, Melissa McCarthy, Awkwafina, Jacob Tremblay and Javier Bardem.

The Jurassic World: Dominion cast includes: Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neil, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Justice Smith, Jake Johnson, Daniella Pineda, Isabella Sermon and BD Wong.
