The Flash Movie Rumored To Not Include the Atlantean/Amazon War or Flashpoint Batman

the batman and the flash

The entertainment world is also slowly resuming its status as companies find safe ways to transport us back into the movie realms we had been accustomed to. The Flash movie is one of those projects that will resume being created with some rumored changes to its plot.

It was reported that the Flash movie starring Ezra Miller would take its plot from the DC comic event “Flashpoint” which had Barry Allen travel back in time to prevent the death of his mother.

The History of Flashpoint Explained

In the comic event, major changes were made to some of the iconic characters such as Batman who was no longer Bruce Wayne but his father Dr. Thomas Wayne, and Superman who was not found by the Kents but held hostage in a government facility.

Another key point of the event was a war between the women of the Amazons led by Diana formally Wonder Woman and Arthur Curry also known as Aquaman and his people of Atlantis.

The Flash Will Reportedly Not Include The Amazonian-Atlantean War or Flashpoint Batman

Heroic Hollywood has shared an interesting rumor that the movie may not include the war between the two worlds. If this is true, the movie’s plot would change dramatically as the war was a key to the comic event. The website also speaks out that the movie will not include an appearance of Flashpoint Batman.

It is also important to bring back up the rumor that Michael Keaton will supposedly be returning for the film, presumably reprising his role as Bruce Wayne from the Tim Burton Batman films. Perhaps Keaton is supposed to be the replacement for Thomas Wayne in the upcoming movie.

These rumors have neither been confirmed nor denied by the studio, but hopefully more news will be released as the studios continue to slowly reopen and get crews back to work safely.

The Flash is currently set to release in theaters on June 3rd, 2022.
