You may fire when ready, because it looks like Grand Moff Tarkin might be showing up in the Cassian Andor series coming to Disney Plus!
Grand Moff Tarkin The Big Bad Imperial
Kessel Run Radio announced that their sources have informed them that Grand Moff Tarkin will indeed have a role to play in the upcoming Cassian Andor series. They were not told if it’ll be the same Guy Henry/CG performance from Rogue One, only that the character will be in the show in some capacity.
The utilization of Grand Moff Tarkin in Rogue One has been met with some criticism, since the film’s release. Mainly due to the uncanny appearance of a CG Tarkin interacting with live human actors, and also the ethics of using the late Peter Cushing’s likeness decades after his passing. Personally, I found Guy Henry’s performance and the SFX work to be pretty remarkable so I’d warmly welcome back more of Rogue One Tarkin.
Wilhuff Tarkin, Officer of the Republic?
Other rumors have pointed to the series touching upon Cassian’s childhood, where he was a part of family of Separatist loyalists. If we aren’t getting Imperial Tarkin in this series, perhaps we are getting the man who fought alongside Anakin Skywalker and the Jedi during the Clone Wars?

Conversely it would be easy to imagine the Grand Moff Tarkin of the Imperial Era having a role on the show, as a fledgling Rebellion begins to gain ground against the might of the Galactic Empire.
