Vince McMahon Questions The Longevity Of Aleister Black’s Character

WWE Aleister Black

Vince McMahon loves Aleister Black, but is not sure how long his character can survive in the WWE according to Sportskeeda.

Black has been a dominant Superstar since the moment he arrived in NXT, both in his matches and in how much air time he receives. However, this dominance may be coming to an end.

Vince is reportedly a huge fan of Aleister Black, but has a hard time seeing his gimmick lasting much longer.

“Vince is a huge fan of the performer and of Tommy [Black’s] size, agility, skill. But he is worried the character is a gimmick and will limit him,” TalkSPORT’s source disclosed.

Is Aleister Black’s Push Killed With Loss To Rollins?

Aleister Black recently lost to Seth Rollins and people believe this may be the start of Black losing his push. Rollins won the match, but he and Buddy Murphy brutalized him after the match by curb stopping Black’s arm and damaging his eye. Even though Aleister Black put on a good performance, he has not looked as strong in recent weeks.

“It was definitely a big defeat to take even though it was like to a big name like Seth Rollins. He was slightly protected because of the interference from Buddy Murphy. Things have really changed in the last couple of weeks for Aleister Black. Now Paul Heyman definitely loved him and Aleister Black was really the headline of the show for him. Every week, he would be having a half an hour match in the opening minutes,” according to Sportskeeda.

Without Heyman, Does Aleister Black Have A Future In WWE?

It is believed that Black was one of Paul Heyman’s pet projects and Heyman really took a liking to him. It was also said that Black took a liking to Heyman and fell for Paul E. Dangerously’s charm like many before him.

However, since Heyman was fired from Raw, Black doesn’t have anyone backing and keeping his push alive. It should be said that Bruce Prichard is now in charge of Raw as well as SmackDown and it’s not known what his feelings are on Black. However, rumor has it Vince is having reservations on Black continuing to headline and carry the show.

“To my knowledge, it is Vince McMahon who has mixed opinions shall we say. Vince added that creek to the entrance when he leverages up and now he has removed the entrance all together. We haven’t seen the Aleister Black entrance in a long time. To put it bluntly, Vince thinks that there’s something missing about Aleister Black. It’s similar to how he feels about Cesaro. Keep an eye on this one because we all know how that went, ” according to Sportskeeda.

Rumors Are Really Dumb Sometimes

I think Vince being down on Aleister Black just because of his character is ridiculous. Black is like an occultist demon hunter or something along those lines. It’s outlandish for sure, as most WWE Superstars are just regular people. However, Bray Wyatt/The Fiend is a demon/serial killer with multiple personalities and Wyatt is still getting pushed really hard. The Viking Raiders are supposed to be lost vikings or something and they are in the tag championship picture consistently.

As far as Black losing his push, I think it’s far too early to make that determination. Black lost to Rollins, but that is only his third singles loss in over a year. In that time he has only lost to two people, Rollins and AJ Styles. They are two top tier Superstars. No one loses any momentum losing to them. When Black starts losing to Mojo Rawley then I’ll be concerned.

Do you think Aleister Black’s character can continue work on the main roster? Do you think Black is losing his push? Drop some comments below or you may be the next to receive a Black Mass.
