Jeremy Renner Bids Hawkeye Adieu?
Renner also posted a behind the scenes selfie to his Instagram story that read:
Last day, for Now. This is not goodbye, but a see you soon. … Thank you cast, crew and Marvel.
Hailee Steinfeld (Bumblebee), who plays Clint Barton’s mentee Kate Bishop in the series, reposted Renner’s picture – which leads many to believe the series has wrapped principal photography.
Jeremy Renner first played Barton in 2011’s Thor and was last seen in Avengers: Endgame. The Hawkeye series is set to star Renner, Steinfeld, Vera Farmiga (Godzilla: King of the Monsters) as Bishop’s mother Eleanor Bishop, Tony Dalton (Better Call Saul) as Barton’s old mentor Jack Duquesne, and Florence Pugh will be reprising her role of Yelena Belova from the upcoming film Black Widow.
No release date has been set for Hawkeye but it is expected to debut this fall/winter following the runs of both Loki and What If…?
