Production of Amazon’s The Boys season three is in full swing. New set photos tease what is in store for next season and also possibly reveal new plot details.
The Boys became one of the hottest superhero shows on the small screen, with two insanely great seasons which caught the audience’s interest immediately and kept them hooked. The show has built an exciting world where superheroes dominate the media. They pretty much appear on anything and everything the company, Vought, can license to pump out to the crowds.
Fans have been wondering what the future holds for our heroes. The upcoming third season of The Boys will surely take the story to the next level following how the second season ended. In the end, it placed the characters in very tight and interesting positions. After the revelations surrounding Stormfront, keeping up the public image will become Vought’s top priority.
The Seven has changed a lot since we last saw them, especially now that Starlight’s name got cleared and they welcomed her back onto the team along with A-Train. But The Seven is still struggling to maintain seven heroes in the team as they are still short of few members similar to how season two started. While the next season is still in the filming stage, we got some new set photos that tease some interesting details on what to expect from the show.
New Images From The Boys Season 3
The Boys set photos are suggesting some time has passed since the last season. The photos feature a closer look at what looks to be downtown Toronto plastered with advertisements sponsored by Vought.
One set photo features Starlight on a poster for what looks to be an upcoming show, titled “American Hero”, where super-powered people possibly try out to become another one of Vought’s contracted heroes. At the end of season two, Starlight was back at The Seven in her original outfit. Looks like she is continuing to wear her original gear, as opposed to the one they made her wear when she initially joined the Seven.

In the previous season, the audience expected Ex-Seven member The Deep’s arc to focus on redemption, but it turned out to be something else. He’d spent all season doing what he could alongside the Church of the Collective to get his spot on the team, but didn’t get lucky which led to him leaving the church. A set pic suggests that he’s moved on and written a memoir about his time on the team.
The advertisement seen in the last photo is for the upcoming 2024 election, one for Ted Cruz whose shares an ongoing Twitter feud with series producer Seth Rogen. While it seems to be a joke at surface level, it might be a confirmation that there will be a time jump in the third season. We know that the previous season took place in 2020, as revealed during Translucent’s funeral in the first episode. A time jump could show us how the team has changed and is still operating through their new US Government contract and how they’ve adjusted to this new lifestyle.
