You are responsible for one of the coolest costume designs for superheroes, which is Shazam. Is there any other superheroes you’d like to take your crack at?
Leah Butler: Gosh, I would love to see one of the femme Fatales; a female, a very strong female. I know that Batgirl is in the works, or something like that would be super fun for me. I just think that there’s so much to portray right now in women, and their strength and, and go forward in. Yeah, that would be fun for me.
Leah Butler was able to walk the fine line of honoring Shazam’s traditional look from his comic book counterpart and making something that seemed cinematic and was the perfect rendition of a superhero based on wish fulfillment.
