Sony has released a brand new Uncharted poster, and it features Tom Holland’s Nathan Drake and Mark Wahlberg’s Sully sailing the skies.

Sony Pictures‘ upcoming adventure film Uncharted is nearly two weeks away from its worldwide premiere. The forthcoming Uncharted film is based on a series of video games created and developed by Naughty Dog. The mainline games focused on legendary treasure hunter Nathan Drake and his adventures around the globe. Fans are excited for Tom Holland’s Nathan Drake to finally make his debut in theaters globally. Sony Pictures has released new character posters of Holland’s Drake and Mark Wahlberg’s Sully for the upcoming film to hype the movie and excite fans further.

Nathan Drake is one of gaming’s most popular and iconic characters in gaming. Besides his delightful personality, Drake is beloved by fans because of his relatability and heart. The new character posters released by Sony feature Holland’s Drake and Wahlberg’s Sully as the primary focus. We see Holland and Wahlberg riding a pirate ship in the air in the new posters.

New Uncharted Character Posters

In the recent trailers promoting the film, the studio showed clips and scenes of two pirate ships in the air that is attached to two helicopters. We see Holland’s Drake and fight Moncada’s (played by Antonio Banderas) henchmen while on a flying ship in those clips. In one of the clips, we saw Wahlberg’s Sully helping Holland’s Drake fight Moncada’s henchmen and flying one of the helicopters.

Overall these new character posters featuring Holland and Wahlberg look fantastic. Fans of Wahlberg should be pleased as the studio gave him his character a poster. Sully is an essential character in the Uncharted games. Sully is Drake’s mentor and father figure and the only person he could rely upon. Hopefully, Wahlberg and Holland pay tribute to the characters they are based on in the Uncharted games. We’ll find out when Uncharted hits theaters on February 18, 2022. Tickets are available now.

Street-smart thief Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter Victor ‘Sully’ Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) to recover a fortune lost by Ferdinand Magellan 500 years ago. What starts as a heist job for the duo becomes a globe-trotting, white-knuckle race to reach the prize before the ruthless Moncada (Antonio Banderas), who believes he and his family are the rightful heirs. If Nate and Sully can decipher the clues and solve one of the world’s oldest mysteries, they stand to find $5 billion in treasure and perhaps even Nate’s long-lost brother…but only if they can learn to work together.

Based on one of the best-selling, critically-acclaimed video game series, Uncharted introduces audiences to the young street-smart Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) and showcases his first treasure hunting adventure with wisecracking partner and mentor Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg). In this action-adventure epic that spans the globe, the duo are in dangerous pursuit of “the greatest treasure never found” while also tracking clues that may lead to Nathan’s long-lost brother.

Uncharted is scheduled to premiere on February 11th, 2022 in the United Kingdom and February 18th, 2022 in the United States and Worldwide. Uncharted stars Tom Holland, Mark Wahlberg, Antonio Banderas, Sophia Ali, and Tati Gabrielle. The film will be produced by Rafe Judkins, Art Marcum, and Matt Holloway. The film will also be produced by Charles Roven, Avi Arad, and Alex Gartner. The screenplay is by Rafe Judkins, Art Marcum, and Matt Halloway. Cinematography by Chung-Hoon Chung. Editing by Richard Pearson. The film will be directed by Richard Pearson. Distribution by Sony Pictures.
