DC League Of Super-Pets is right around the corner and to celebrate the upcoming release Warner Bros. hosted a special Kids and Capes early screening as well as red carpet on July 13 at The Grove in LA. DC League Of Super-Pets has an impressive cast of voice actors and a number of these stars walked the red carpet at this special Kids and Capes screening including Dwayne Johnson, Keanu Reeves, Kevin Hart, and Jameela Jamil. Fans were also able to see the Super-Pets themselves Krypto aka Superdog and Ace aka Bat-Hound.

This exciting animated adventure will explore the world of DC heroes from a new perspective, that of Superman’s loyal hound Krypto. When Superman, and the rest of the Justice League, are taken it is up to not only Krypto, but a group of rag tag newly powered shelter animals to rescue those who usually do the rescuing. DC’s new super animated movie is the perfect summer blockbuster for the whole family.
Superheroes have become synonymous with pop culture and movies, but exploring a story where the usual heroes are the ones who need to be saved is an exciting concept. The idea of newly super powered individuals is a classic trope, but by exploring it through a group of pets who themselves were waiting to be saved is sure to be a blast. The cast of DC League of Super-Pets is absolutely packed with stars. But the comedic duo at the heart of the film, Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart, have proven their chemistry not only when it comes to comedy, but as the heart of a number of films as well.

With San Diego Comic Con only a week away, and a week before DC League Of Super-Pets hits theaters, perhaps Warner Bros. could release a fun sneak peek of the new movie. Warner Bros. is hosting a DC centric panel at San Diego Comic Con with Dwayne Johnson and Zachary Levi. And while Dwayne Johnson is there primarily to promote his upcoming Black Adam movie perhaps the DC star could tease audiences with something new about his other heroic role.
DC League Of Super-Pets is primed to be a hit for all ages tapping into audience’s love of superheroes while making it enjoyable for fans of all ages. DC has largely explored movies with a darker tone recently with The Batman, The Suicide Squad, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League. DC League Of Super-Pets is a way for long time fans to introduce the next generation of DC fans to these beloved heroes while also enjoying a fun-filled animated adventure themselves.

Krypto the Super-Dog and Superman are inseparable best friends, sharing the same superpowers and fighting crime side by side in Metropolis. However, Krypto must master his own powers for a rescue mission when Superman is kidnapped.
