Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Astonishing New Trailer

The all-new trailer for 'Transformers: Rise of the Bests' is heavy with Maximal-ly 90's.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts

Maximals, MAXIMIZE! The next cinematic chapter of the beloved robots in disguise is on its way, and it’s set to be the biggest and most action-packed one yet. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts promises to bring together the classic ’80s robots in disguise with an exciting new cast of characters influenced by the Millenial darlings known as the Maximals of Beast Wars.

Optimus Prime and the Autobots join forces with the Maximals and take on a world-ending threat, guaranteeing plenty of explosions, epic battles, and heart-pumping action along the way. With a talented cast and crew, stunning visual effects, and a story that promises to expand the Transformers universe, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is sure to be a must-see for fans and newcomers alike. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts New Trailer

Millennials are going to lose their mind seeing their introduction to the franchise take the screen and transform with the iconic battle cry, “Maximals, MAXIMIZE!!!” Plus the 90’s nostalgia is strong in the film, much like the 80’s were in Bumblebee. If the film can continue the momentum, the world could be looking at the beginning of a new and stronger Transformers cinematic universe. Ideally with one of the branchses focusing on Beast Wars.

Personally, the metallic look of the Maximals’ beast mode dampens my hopes to see them go into transmetal stages, but that’s a whole different story. Plus with no official word if these films are a reboot or prequel to the original Michael Bay Pentalogy of films, and no telling how well the film will do at the box office, only time will tell. But if looks alone are any indication, these movies are not going anywhere anytime soon. For a better look at the Maximals in beast mode, take a look at their character posters below.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Character Posters

Along with the gorgeous character posters, the voice actors for each of the Autobots and Maximals were listed. Above are the Maximals and below art the Autobots.

Then last, but not least, the G.O.A.T., Bumblebee.

While these character posters are amazing, the lack of a Rattrap is disheartening. In the series, the original team of Maximals was Optimus Primal, Rhinox, Cheetor, and Rattrap. With Dinobot defecting early on, then Airazor and Tigertron joined shortly after. Even in Netflix’s Transformers: War for Cybertron Rattrap was a core member of the team. Hopefully, he’ll be a welcomed surprise for fans when they watch the film.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts releases exclusively in theaters on June 9, 2023.
