Exoprimal™ is set to revolutionize online team-based action gaming with its post-launch roadmap
Exoprimal

Capcom’s highly anticipated online team-based action game, Exoprimal™, is gearing up for its launch on July 14, 2023. “The Exoprimal Showcase,” led by Director Takuro Hiraoka, recently gave fans a glimpse into the thrilling future of Exofighters, revealing a robust post-launch roadmap packed with new features and updates.

Set in 2040, Exoprimal™ is an adrenaline-pumping action game where players, equipped with advanced Exosuit technology, battle against ferocious dinosaurs. In the main game mode, Dino Survival, teams of five Exofighters race to complete objectives while fending off dinosaur hordes. With the ability to swap Exosuits at any time, each match offers a unique challenge.

Final Mission Selection: A New Twist on Gameplay

Exoprimal‘s main mode, Dino Survival, will introduce the “Final Mission Selection” feature at launch. This innovative feature offers players three matchmaking options: player-versus-player (PvP), player-versus-environment (PvE), and random matches. Whether you’re looking for a head-to-head battle or a race against time, Exoprimal caters to every player’s preference, even offering an experience bonus for those who choose the random option.

Capcom is committed to keeping Exoprimal fresh and exciting with seasonal content updates. Season 1, commencing on launch day, will introduce a new game mode, Savage Gauntlet, on July 28, 2023. This co-op experience will challenge teams with rotating late-game PvE missions, offering opportunities for higher rankings and rewards.

The first major title update rolls out on August 17, 2023, introducing 10 Alpha variant Exosuits. These new designs, equipped with unique weapons, will add a fresh twist to Dino Survival and Savage Gauntlet modes.

Collaborations and More: Looking Ahead

The Exoprimal Showcase didn’t just stop at revealing the game’s post-launch roadmap. It also gave fans a glimpse into the exciting collaborations that Capcom has lined up for the game. The first of these collaborations is with the iconic Street Fighter™ 6, set to be part of the game’s second season starting in mid-October 2023. This collaboration promises to bring a unique blend of Street Fighter’s intense combat mechanics to the dinosaur-infested world of Exoprimal. Players can look forward to new maps, Final Missions, and additional rigs and modules that will further enhance the gameplay experience.
