The box set includes 200 Common Cards, 20 Skill Cards, and 8 Secret Rares, including Slifer the Sky Dragon and Arkana’s red Dark Magician. Speed Duel: Streets of Battle City is set to hit the shelves on August 25.

At SDCC, we got to talk to Konami’s Billy Breaker, who told us a bit about this Speed Duel set. One of the best features is that the duelist abilities are designed to emulate their playstyle from the Battle City arc. This means that Joey Wheeler is unequivocally the best duelist to play as as we know he actually never loses and does get his Red Eyes back. While that happens off-screen, it does mean that Joey Wheeler beat Yugi when he had all three Egyptian God Cards, and Joey didn’t have his signature card. Joey Wheeler is the GOAT.
