The first logo for Venom 3 was recently unveiled at a Sony Pictures presentation that took place at CES 2024. Venom 3 is the upcoming sequel featuring Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, AKA Venom. The film is currently in the works to be released later this year.

The Venom film series is currently the flagship franchise in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe of Marvel Characters now that the Spider-Man film series is on a bit of a break after No Way Home. The fledgling shared universe includes Venom, Morbius, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and the upcoming Kraven The Hunter.
Venom 3 is directed by Kelly Marcel and based on a story that she wrote with Tom Hardy. Kelly Marcel was a writer on the first two Venom movies as well, and the upcoming threequel will be her directorial debut. Sony Pictures hosted a panel at the CES 2024 event recently, where the logo for Venom 3 was revealed. You can check out the image below (via Discussing Film):
VENOM 3 – The First Logo Design Has Arrived
The logo on display at the conference takes the original Venom design and adds a big red “3” behind it. This is probably not the official design for Venom 3, and that might not even be the official title of the movie. Venom: Let There Be Carnage opted to avoid numerical titling, so it would be strange for the third film to use such a bland name. Many fans have also pointed out the obvious potential for V3NOM as an official title.
The official logo for the upcoming Karate Kid movie starring Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan was shared at the same event. Again, the logo and titles used here may be placeholders and not the final product. Venom 3 is slated for release on Nov. 8, 2024, while Karate Kid is scheduled for Dec. 13, 2024. The marketing process for these projects has only just begun, and many elements of that process are subject to change over the coming months.
Not much is known about the plot of Venom 3 at the time of writing. Possible storylines include a crossover with Spider-Man, a setup for a Sinister Six storyline, or something involving the Toxin symbiote. As Carnage is the offspring of Venom, Toxin is the offspring of Carnage. Could Venom fight his grandson in the upcoming movie? It remains to be seen.

On Feb. 14, 2024, Madame Web hits theaters. While it is also a Sony Marvel movie, it technically takes place in a different universe than Venom. Despite that, Madame Web is expected to tie elements of Sony’s various Spider-Man franchises together through the multiverse, so there is arguably a strong chance that Venom and Madame Web will cross paths someday. Could the red “3” in the logo be a tease for Carnage, Toxin, or Madame Web, since they all have red costumes?
