This year’s ATL Comic Convention has an extremely impressive list of guest celebrities attending the event. The upcoming comic convention takes place from Feb. 9-11, 2024.

The convention will take place in the World Congress Center located in downtown Atlanta, GA. Three days of cosplays, celebrity guests, and nerdy celebrations are just a ticket away! Michael Rooker (Yondu in Guardians of the Galaxy), Zachary Levi (Shazam!), Jon Bernthal (The Punisher), and Curran Walters (Red Hood on Titans) are a few of the incredible performers appearing at ATL Comic Convention 2024.
ATL COMIC CONVENTION – Red Hood and Shazam Represent DC
Red Hood has only been played in live-action by one man – Curran Walters. Jason Todd is the second Robin, at least he was before he was murdered. After Joker savagely took the Boy Wonder’s life, Jason returned from the dead as the lethal vigilante “Red Hood”. Curran Walters plays Jason/Robin/Red Hood on Titans, and his work as the tortured antihero is easily one of the show’s highlights.
Zachary Levi plays a much lighter and brighter character in the DC Universe, specifically Shazam. Levi played the adult, magically empowered version of Billy Batson in both Shazam! and its sequel, Shazam: Fury of the Gods.
We may never see Levi and Walters play Shazam and Red Hood again, but their legacy still lives on. Photo opportunities at ATL Comic Convention provide fans with the opportunity to thank these actors for their work while creating a great memory and souvenir.
ATL COMIC CONVENTION – Yondu and The Punisher Represent Marvel
Michael Rooker is beloved by MCU fans for his work as Yondu, leader of the Ravagers. Yondu is the adoptive father of Star-lord. He’s rough around the edges and rather harsh at times, but he has a good heart. His death and funeral in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is one of the most tragic moments in The Infinity Saga. Rooker is also famous among The Walking Dead fans for his 14-episode role as Merle Dixon.
Yondu and Punisher might not appear together in the MCU, seeing as one of them is dead. But the actors who play them will be in attendance at ATL Comic Convention 2024. Jon Bernthal also appeared in The Walking Dead, but his most famous role is Frank Castle/The Punisher in the MCU. Bernthal is an incredibly talented actor who has also performed in films like King Richard and Baby Driver.

Jon Bernthal, Michael Rooker, Curran Walters, and Zachary Levi have done remarkable jobs bringing comic book characters to life in live-action.
