Elden Ring is finally delivering its long-awaited expansion to the critically acclaimed RPG experience next month. Bandai Namco Games has revealed a new CGI story trailer for the upcoming expansion which you can view below.

The new trailer offers some history on the Realm of Shadow, the unseen land that will be featured in the expansion. Shadow of the Erdtree launches on June 21. You can check out the newly revealed CGI trailer below:
THE NEW CGI TRAILER FOR ELDEN RING: SHADOW OF THE ERDTREE REVEALS THE HISTORY OF THE SHADOW REALM
In Shadow of the Erdtree, players will step into the Realm of Shadow and explore a new adventure full of mysteries and various strangers to confront. They will also confront new threatening bosses with new weapons and armor. In the new story expansion, players will follow in the footsteps of Miquella and seek to unravel the dark side of the Elden Ring’s story.
The world of the game was created by From Software, Inc., director Hidetaka Miyazaki, and acclaimed author George R. R. Martin. Martin, of course, is best known as the author of the fantasy series, A Song of Ice and Fire, from which the Game of Thrones series is based. The game has been a breakout success across the world, winning Game of the Year at the 2022 Game Awards, the 2022 Golden Joystick Award, the 26th D.I.C.E. Awards, the 2023 Game Developers Choice Awards, and more.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree will be available on June 21 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Windows PC via Steam. Pre-orders on the expansion are currently available for all platforms. The bundle includes the base game, which is required to play the story expansion.
