This past Sunday, Sarah Logan teased that a major announcement would be dropping Monday and we now know what the announcement is.
Logan along with her husband, Erik of the Viking Raiders, revealed on their Instagram that the couple are expecting a child. This will be the first child for Erik and Logan.
A few weeks ago we reported that Logan decided to take a step away from wrestling for the “foreseeable future” and it was unclear why she made that decision, as Logan has been wrestling since she was 17. However, it’s now pretty clear what that means and why she made that announcement.
A Positive After Being Fired For Sarah Logan
Sarah Logan, whose real name is Sarah Rowe, was part of the mass release group earlier due to budget cuts related to the Covid-19 pandemic. After she was released by WWE, she said they felt lost and didn’t know what would come next or what she should do. It seemed like the best time to have a baby. The couple both being employed by WWE was the main reason they didn’t want a child just yet, according to Logan.

However, with Sarah Logan being free from the demanding WWE road schedule things have seemed to work out. They made the decision to try and have a baby and Logan became pregnant almost immediately, according to Logan.
How They Felt About Having A Child Prior To This
Logan talked about how she never wanted to have children and never had the maternal instinct compelling her to have a baby. However, when she met Erik she knew right away that he was a man she wanted to have children with.

On the other hand, Erik always knew that he wanted to be a father. He loves being an uncle and can’t wait to have a child of his own. Erik is excited to meet his child and learn what their favorite food is and get to know them.
The Pregnancy Is Becoming Real
Even with Sarah Logan being very early on in her pregnancy, Erik is finding it very hard to leave her and go wrestle. Logan is starting to feel her hormones going haywire and pregnancy is starting to take its toll.
Logan spoke about how she wanted to pursue MMA and now she would have to put that on the backburner until after her baby gets a little older and the couple is settled in. However, she would still like to give MMA a shot.
We here at The Illuminerdi want to give the couple our sincerest congratulations on the pregnancy. We can’t wait to see that cute little baby boy or girl as well as the baby in the WWE in 20 or so years.
