Director Robert Machoian plays with the landscape in quite a beautiful way as he is always able to capture the wide open landscape of the setting when the focus is on a group of characters, but when it comes to character driven scenes and moments he uses the actors full faces to fill up the screen. Which lets the audience inside the mind of the characters.
The story is simple, but effectively written. With a runtime of only 84 minutes, the movie wastes no time and tells it’s story as sharply as possible, through effective use of the camera, as well as with exact editing and great performances by Clayne Crawford and Sepideh Moafi.
