20th Century Studios has just announced that the new film in the hit Kingsman movie franchise, The King’s Man, will now be coming to theaters this December.

This time this upcoming film will be a prequel to the first two films. The King’s Man will explore the origins of how the world’s very first intelligence agency, The Kingsman, was founded and formed. The first film, Kingsman: The Secret Service, released in 2015 and was a surprising huge hit. The success of the first film eventually led to a sequel, The Golden Circle, in 2017. The sequel was also highly successful and in return helped create a popular pop-cultural franchise.
