The Legend Of Vox Machina is a little over two weeks away and the new trailer is sure to get Critters excited! With the perfect combination of animated gore, impressive action, and ridiculous comedy The Legend Of Vox Machina trailer delivers exactly what Critters love about this group of adventurers.
The new animated series will follow the intrepid heroes Vox Machina, the adventuring party of Critical Role’s first campaign, as they fight evil, drink too much, and undoubtedly get themselves into trouble.
NEW RED BAND TRAILER FOR THE LEGEND OF VOX MACHINA
Each member of Vox Machina is given the chance to shine in the trailer with the entire crew drinking at taverns and fighting monsters. The trailer offers a glimpse of Pike and Grog fighting together, Vax’s renowned skills with daggers, and of course the famous Vex wink. The animation is phenomenal with the action scene looking dynamic and the beloved characters perfectly captured on screen. Critters will spot some fan favorite allies of Vox Machina with Kima, Allura, and the glorious Shaun Gilmore briefly shown in the trailer.
However, a couple of the dark forces that are at work in Exandria are also teased in the trailer with Lord and Lady Briarwood making an appearance. Vox Machina will take on the mysterious Briarwoods who have an intriguing connection to Percy in the series, adapting a storyline from Critical Role’s first campaign.
The Legend Of Vox Machina debuts on Amazon Prime January 28, 2022. The first season will consist of 12 episodes released in 3 episode batches each week. Critters have been eagerly awaiting The Legend Of Vox Machina animated series for years and the trailer seems to prove that it worth the wait. In 2019 Critical Role launched a kickstarter campaign to create a 22 minute animated special based on the beloved Campaign 1 adventuring party, Vox Machina.
Critters blew past the initial goal and raised over $11.3 million over the course of the Kickstarter campaign. Critical Role was able to expand the special into a 10 episode season. Soon after Amazon Studios picked up the series and added 14 additional episodes for a total of two 12 episode seasons.
