Surprise! What fans thought was going to be a return to form for Beast Morphers was actually the Dino Charge team-up and the episode itself was just as awesome as the surprise!

Surprise! What fans thought was going to be a return to form for Beast Morphers was actually the Dino Charge team-up and the episode itself was just as awesome as the surprise!

The episode starts off with Zoey investigating Ryjack’s ship, when she goes in without back up and the ship explodes knocking her back. Soon after, Blaze and Roxy show up to the scene and find the sword used by Snide back in Power Rangers Dino Super Charge. The use the reanimizer on the sword to bring back Snide and take him back to the cyber-dimension.

When Zoey regains consciousness, she sees a mysterious alien emerge from the wreckage. In a hasty decision, Zoey picks up the compliance collar and puts it on the alien. When the other Rangers show up for back-up, they recognize the alien as Keeper, the mentor of the Dino Charge Rangers.

The Rangers tell Zoey that she shouldn’t have made such a quick decision and try to take him back to Grid Battleforce however some Vivix come and take him away.

The Beast Morphers Rangers follow the truck that took Keeper and are attacked by a bunch of Vivix. They are quickly overwhelmed until an inter-dimensional portal appears revealing the Dino Charge rangers. Tyler asks Devon where they are keeping Keeper and Devon points to the truck. The Dino Charge Rangers try to save Keeper, however he’s taken once again.

Back at Grid Battleforce, the Dino Charge Rangers confront the Beast Morphers Rangers on how Keeper was able to be captured. Zoey explains that it was her fault and that she didn’t know that it was Keeper when she put the compliance collar on him.

Evox sends a message to the Rangers at Grid Battleforce telling them that in exchange for Keeper they need to give them the other weapons that they took from the wreckage of Ryjack’s ship. The Rangers accept as they have no other choice.

Snide accepts the trade however it was of course a trap. The commander informs the Beast Morphers rangers that a Gigadrone is attacking the city. The Beast Morphers Rangers take care of the Gigadrone, while the Dino Charge Rangers continue to fight against Snide.

Back in the cyber-dimension Evox crew uses the artifacts from Ryjack’s ship to reanimize the rest of the Dino Charge villains and sends them to attack the Dino Charge Rangers.

Beast Morphers Rangers To The Rescue!

The Dino Charge Rangers are overwhelmed by their old foes, but the Beast Morphers rangers are able to return causing the Dino Charge villains to retreat and save Keeper.

Back at Grid Battleforce the Dino Charge rangers explain that they still have to attend to matters in their own universe, but suspect that the battle isn’t over yet. Keeper forgives Zoey for accidentally getting him captured and leaves as well, ending the episode.

Overall I think this was a great team-up episode. It is of course unfortunate that Riley and Shelby were unable to return in person. It still was cool to see them in Ranger form even though the actors didn’t return.

I am also super excited to see how the events of this episode will build up into the eventual full on Dino-Team up episode coming within the next couple of days!
