Marvel Studios’ Moon Knight Disney+ Series Adds 2 New Directors

Moon Knight is shaping up with pre-production as two new directors join the project.

The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead are set to join the upcoming Disney+ Moon Knight series as directors.

The two filmmakers are known for the sci-fi horror movies: The Endless and Synchronic. They are set to direct “several episodes” alongside showrunner Mohamed Diab, who is set to direct a “sizeable chunk” of the episodes. He is known for the middle-eastern drama Clash. Jeremy Slater (The Umbrella Academy) will lead the writers room.

The Hollywood Reporter, Aaron Moorhead as well as the show’s cinematographer did all confirm that Oscar Isaac will be playing the titular character Marc Spector/Moon Knight. The cinematographer Gregory Middleton is known for Game of Thrones and HBO’s Watchmen.
