This might be a really good week for MCU fans as Tom Holland is set to tease Spider-Man 3 this Thursday.
Variety has confirmed that Tom Holland is set to appear in Variety’s “Awards Circuit Podcast” on February 4th, to “tease and set our expectations for the film.”
This is exciting news, as fans are eagerly anticipating some new official information on Spidey’s next adventure, as there are a ton of rumors floating around. We also still don’t know the official title of Spider-Man 3. However, Holland was the one who revealed the title for Spider-Man: Far From Home, so fans are hoping that we might get the title for the threequel this week.
It will definitely be interesting to see, how much Holland will actually say about Spider-Man 3, as we all know Marvel Studios is very secretive with their projects. The phrase “set our expectations” could go from a vague description saying something like “it’s going to be massive, the biggest Spider-Man movie ever…” Up to an official synopsis or even a title, which would give us some new information as well. As Far From Home, was very telling and clued us in that we wouldn’t see Spider-Man in New York.
Tom Holland On the Set of Spider-Man 3 With Brother Harry
Tom Holland also has shared a new set photo with him in the Spidey suit with his brother Harry Holland, attached to wires, sitting on his shoulders. We have seen Harry in previous Spider-Man 3 set photos before, so now it’s basically official that he will be playing a small role, which is expected to be a criminal. Holland also shared a very intriguing caption:
“Today was easily one of the highlights of my career. For those of you that were there, you know what I’m talking about and for those of you that weren’t, you better buckle up!!!”
Tom Holland
This really sounds like something big as Holland definitely has had an impressive career so far, after appearing in multiple Avengers films. However, whatever happened on the day of that photo was one of the highlights of his career… did he shoot some scenes with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield? Or did he simply share the screen with his younger brother? We might know a bit more about this Spider-Man 3 mystery this Thursday.

Another interesting thing is that Sony Pictures official Instagram account has shared his photo in their Instagram Story simply tagging @spidermanmovie.
Normally these kind of set photos won’t get reposted by official studio accounts, even though Sony Pictures does this on rare occasions. We might have to wait and see if Sony Pictures will mention Holland’s appearance in Variety’s podcast. If they do, chances are higher that it might be something big, like a title reveal, as they will want as many people to know.
Spider-Man 3 is hopefully swinging into theatres December 17, 2021. What do you guys think? Could we get the Spider-Man 3 title this Thursday? What do you think Holland’s Instagram post is referring to? Let’s discuss everything in the comments down below and on our Twitter.
