The Falcon and the Winter Soldier finale just aired on Disney+ and Marvel is already working on Captain America 4.

Captain America 4 Has Its Wings

The Hollywood Reporter exclusively broke the news that the The Falcon and the Winter Soldier showrunner Malcolm Spellman is writing the Captain America 4 screenplay alongside Dalan Musson, a staff writer on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, who penned the fifth episode of the series.

At this point no further Captain America 4 details are available, but it’s safe to assume that we will see Sam Wilson, played by Anthony Mackie, making his big screen debut as Captain America. Particularly after he took over the mantle in today’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier finale in a truly cinematic fashion.

We have to wait and see if this might end up being named Captain America and the Winter Soldier, which the highly successful Disney+ series was re-titled during the credits of the today’s episode. It will also be interesting to find out if we get to see John Walker, Bucky, Sharon Carter, or Zemo returning in the theatrical sequel.
