It has been announced that 20th Century Fox will be debuting their surprise hit movie Free Guy starring Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds for home release starting next month.

Everyone’s favorite video game Artificial Intelligence “Guy” will be making his official debut on both digital and physical platforms. It has been announced that 20th Century Fox will be debuting their surprise hit movie Free Guy starring Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds for home release starting next month.

Free Guy is one of this summer’s most surprising movies. Both critics and audiences gave the film highly positive reviews, due largely to the film’s humor and of course Reynolds’ performance as the lead. Critics also praised the film’s original concept and pop culture references including Ready Player One, The Matrix, The Truman Show, and of course the Grand Theft Auto video game franchise, and many more.

The film’s plot revolves around a banker named Guy, who slowly realizes that he’s inside an open-world video game. This revelation leads Guy on a path of self-discovery and he finds that his life as a NPC (Non Playable Character) may have more significance than he could have ever imagined.

Fans will be able to get a digital copy on September 28. Then for viewers who prefer a physical copy, they can get it on Blu-Ray and DVD on October 12. Free Guy is currently now showing in theaters
