A new rumor indicates that Emilia Clarke’s Qi’ra could be the newest character to be at the center of their own Star Wars Disney Plus series.
Fans have been wanting to further explore the Star Wars criminal underworld for years and The Book Of Boba Fett has begun to flesh out this aspect of a galaxy far, far away. The second episode of The Book Of Boba Fett has continued to delve into the criminal underworld with two members of the Hutt Cartel, members of the Pyke Syndicate, and the live action debut of Black Krrsantan with more surely to come as the series continues.
A NEW RUMOR POINTS TO EMILIA CLARKE STARRING IN HER OWN QI’RA DISNEY PLUS SERIES
A new rumor may indicate that Star Wars is looking to further explore this corner of Star Wars through a familiar face. That Hashtag Show has reported that Emilia Clarke may reprise her role as Qi’ra in her own Star Wars series. Qi’ra could be the perfect way to dive even further into this aspect of the franchise. Interestingly, the main title theme for Book Of Boba Fett seems to be hinting at Crimson Dawn which could potentially lead to an appearance by the leader of the criminal syndicate, which at this time was Qi’ra.
If the rumor that Emilia Clarke will be starring in her own Disney Plus series is true, The Book Of Boba Fett could be the perfect place to reintroduce the character and reveal where she is at this point in the Star Wars timeline. Emilia Clarke’s Qi’ra was first introduced in Solo: A Star Wars Story as Han Solo’s first love and a member of the Crimson Dawn. After double crossing and killing her boss, Dryden Voss, Qi’ra became the public face of Crimson Dawn working directly for Darth Maul who was secretly running the criminal organization.
Solo was also the last time Qi’ra was seen on screen, but she has been featured in a number of comics with an intriguing storyline. In the comics Qi’ra is working to rebuild Crimson Dawn to be even more powerful by whatever means necessary including stealing the carbonite frozen Han Solo from Boba Fett and taking on Darth Vader himself. Qi’ra proves to be a cunning leader using manipulation and her smarts to her advantage as well as Maul’s training.
Although there are no details about what this rumored Qi’ra series could be about, it could potentially take inspiration from her storyline in the comics. However, if Crimson Dawn or even Qi’ra herself were to appear in The Book Of Boba Fett it could mean that a potential Qi’ra series could follow a similar path as The Book Of Boba Fett or Ahsoka, branching out into a spin-off series.

Qi’ra is a truly fascinating character and could be the perfect entry point to further dig into the criminal underbelly of Star Wars. Crimson Dawn has connections to the Sith through Maul and the other criminal empires, including the Hutt Cartel and the Pyke Syndicate making Qi’ra and Crimson Dawn ideal subjects for a potential Star Wars crime based story. Emilia Clarke has shown interest in reprising her role as Qi’ra in order to take care of unfinished business. If the rumor proves to be true, Emilia Clarke may finally be able to revisit this character and further explore her life.
