The Legendary God Of all Pokemon has arrived with Pokémon Legends: Arceus now available worldwide.

Arceus is one of the most powerful and unique Pokemon in the franchise. The legendary pokemon is essentially the god of all pokemon in franchise lore. Arceus is said to have created the Pokemon Universe. The mythical pokemon first appeared in the Pokemon games, Diamond and Pearl. Also, the only way to obtain it was through a mystery gift or a special event. Arceus has also appeared in many other mainline games and spin-offs. The legendary pokemon was also featured in the anime series and film. Now the Pokemon God finally has its own mainline game.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus is now available. The game is already receiving highly positive reviews from critics and fans who have played it. The game takes place in a time when Pokemon and Humans lived in harmony in the Hisui region. Players play as part of the Galaxy Expedition Team and their job is to explore various areas of the Hisui region and study the pokemon. After they complete their various studies of a specific location, they must return to their home base in Jubilife Village and report their findings.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus has similar game mechanics used in previous games, like catching Pokemon, training them, and of course, battling. But, this is the first Pokemon game in the franchise to use an open-world mechanic. It’s also the first Pokemon game to be in the action role-playing genre and the first game in the series where a wild Pokemon can hurt the player. Another somewhat new feature enables players to ride Pokemon to travel around areas in Hisui.

OFFICIAL POKEMON LEGENDS: ARCEUS PRESS RELEASE

A new adventure filled with mystery and discovery awaits Pokémon Trainers in the Hisui region, the backdrop of the Pokémon Legends: Arceus game, which is now available exclusively on Nintendo Switch systems.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus takes Trainers through the Sinnoh region of old, when it was called by a different name—Hisui—and in a time when it was rare for humans and Pokémon to live in close harmony. Players will embark on an adventure to help complete the region’s first Pokédex by catching, surveying, and researching the wild Pokémon that live there. Rich in nature and with Mount Coronet towering at its heart, the Hisui region is unlike anything Trainers have experienced before.

As a member of the Galaxy Expedition Team, players will stay in Jubilife Village, a bustling settlement that serves as the Galaxy Team’s base of operations. After receiving an assignment or a request, Trainers will set out from the village to study one of the various areas of the Hisui region. After they finish their survey work, Trainers will return to Jubilife Village to prepare for their next task.

Whenever Trainers leave Jubilife Village to set out on an excursion, their first stop will be one of the base camps that serve as an outpost for their research. These base camps are more than just starting points—Trainers can stop to rest during an excursion and recover their Pokémon’s health or use the base camp’s workbench to craft items.
