Lucasfilm held their annual Star Wars Celebration last weekend in Anaheim, California. The convention is an incredible opportunity for Star Wars fans as they can meet other fans from across the world, see their favorite filmmakers and actors, and get a glimpse of upcoming projects for a galaxy far, far away.
This year, Lucasfilm showcased upcoming and new content for all of the Celebration attendees, including first looks at the new Disney+ series Andor and Willow. Lucasfilm also included many surprises in their presentations, including an unexpected sneak peek at the third season of The Mandalorian, the announcement of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, a new Disney+ exclusive series starring Jude Law, an early photo from the latest Indiana Jones film, and much more.

Obi-Wan Kenobi
Stars Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen took the stage at Star Wars Celebration. They were joined by newcomers to the franchise, Moses Ingram and Rupert Friend, and executive producer Kathleen Kennedy and director Deborah Chow to discuss Obi-Wan Kenobi with the audience. Following the discussion, the cast revealed a surprise announcement of a red-carpet premiere of the first two episodes later that night, and everyone in the audience was invited.
To bring an end to the presentation, legendary composer John Williams led the Pacific Symphony Orchestra in the first-ever live performance of the Obi-Wan theme.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is now streaming on Disney+.
Andor
At Star Wars Celebration, star Diego Luna, creator and showrunner Tony Gilroy, executive producer Sanne Wohlenberg, and Genevieve O’Reilly spoke about their upcoming Disney+ series Andor. The crew revealed the first official poster for the series and debuted a teaser trailer.
Andor focuses on the period when the Empire controls the galaxy as Cassian Andor begins the journey to turn him into a hero for the rebellion. The series stars Luna in the titular role, reprising his character from Rogue One, Genevieve O’Reilly, back as Mon Mothma, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, and Kyle Soller.
Andor premieres its first two episodes on Disney+ on August 31.

Ahsoka
Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni graced the stage at Star Wars Celebration with a roar of applause. They announced that Ahsoka is currently in production and that they had just come from the set. Filoni confirmed that he is directing a few episodes of the show, and the two shared a video from series star Rosario Dawson.

Ahsoka will follow the former Jedi Knight as she investigates a threat to the New Republic. The show will premiere exclusively on Disney+ in 2023.
The Mandalorian Season 3
Favreau and Filoni remained on stage and spoke about The Mandalorian Season 3. They brought on Katee Sackhoff, who plays Bo-Katan, and announced her return in Season 3. The group also shared a surprise sneak peek of the next season, made only for the fans in attendance. Favreau also announced The Mandalorian Experience, an exhibit of props and costumes from the series that was on display for the entirety of Star Wars Celebration.

The Mandalorian Season 3 will premiere exclusively on Disney+ February 2023.
