From the moment you step in, you’ll be immersed in an environment that captures the essence of the beloved franchise. But the Sonic experience doesn’t stop at the decor. Fans can look forward to trying “Sonic’s Classic Chili Dog,” the “Knuckles Sandwich,” a crispy fried chicken delight, and “The Evil Genius” egg salad sandwich. Complementing these main dishes are sides like the “Golden Ring” onion rings and “Fast Fries,” a nod to Sonic’s legendary speed. The beverage menu is equally exciting, with options like the Blue Blur (Sonic) blueberry slushie; Smashing Echidna (Knuckles) cherry slush; Flying Fox (Tails) mango orange slush; and Team Dark (Shadow) mocha milkshake.

Exclusive Sonic Merchandise

In addition to the themed food and drinks, visitors will also have the opportunity to purchase exclusive Sonic the Hedgehog Speed Cafe merchandise. The range includes t-shirts, hoodies, and hats, all designed with Sonic fans in mind. Plus, each order comes in custom-designed Sonic packaging, adding an extra touch of fun to the dining experience.

The chili dog is iconic to fans who watched any Sonic cartoons. While it did not really make it into the games, those who grew up with any of the animated series know that the chili dog is what Sonic lived for. It is absolutely brilliant that it will be featured at the Sonic The Hedgehog Speed Cafe.

Grand Opening and Operational Hours

The Sonic the Hedgehog Speed Cafe is set to host a Grand Opening celebration on July 19, just in time for San Diego Comic-Con 2023. The event, which kicks off at 11 a.m. PT, will feature the official Sonic mascot and the team from SEGA of America.
