Justice League star Jason Momoa joins Ray Fisher in his continued fight for a proper investigation into the mistreatment that occurred by Joss Whedon, Jon Berg, and Geoff Johns during the film’s production.

Jason Momoa recently supported Ray Fisher by posting on his Instagram, “Serious stuff went down. It needs to be investigated and people need to be held accountable.” Momoa who co-starred with Ray Fisher in Justice League, also made clear that the news that broke in July regarding him voicing Frosty The Snowman in an upcoming Warner Bros. film produced by none other than Jon Berg and Geoff Johns is completely false. In Momoa’s own words:

“I just think it’s fucked up that people released a fake Frosty announcement without my permission to try to distract from Ray Fisher speaking up about the shitty way we were treated on Justice League reshoots.”

The fact that the Frosty news was not only fake, but released without Jason Momoa’s permission is definitely an action worth noting. Ray Fisher and Warner Bros. have continued to go back and forth in the media and on social media, with Fisher stating that the investigator he spoke to was biased and included a third-party witness without informing him. Warner Bros. then publicly stated that Fisher simply refused to speak with an investigator.

This investigation stems from Fisher’s initial tweet in July, regarding the “gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable” treatment of the cast and crew by Joss Whedon during the Justice League reshoots. The tweet also names Jon Berg and Geoff Johns specifically as enablers of said behavior.

With Jason Momoa stepping forward and supporting Fisher’s statements it is no surprise that Ray Fisher has responded to Momoa’s post. In Ray Fisher’s tweet he tells people to “wake up” if they truly believed the Frosty news was real. Ray Fisher’s tweet goes on to say:

“Hopefully now people see the depths that some are willing to go to hide the truth. To think they believed my brother would sellout the cast/crew of JL for a corncob pipe and a button nose…”

According to Fisher this is not the only time Warner Bros. has released news to distract from the ongoing battle for a fair investigation into the Justice League reshoots. Fisher alleges that the announcement of Ben Affleck’s return as Batman in The Flash movie was meant to be revealed at DC Fandome. However, the news broke earlier to pull attention away from an update from Fisher about Warner Media launching an investigation through an independent third party.

It’s clear that not only were the reshoots riddled with issues and unacceptable working conditions, but it looks like Warner Bros. is doing all they can to pull focus away from Fisher and his ongoing battle to hold those responsible accountable. Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cybrog, Ciarán Hindsas Steppenwolf, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and JK Simmons as Commissioner Gordon. The four part Zack Snyder’s Justice League will premiere in 2021 on HBO Max.
