Olaf appears to of course stumble across some trouble in this new adventure, being chased by what looks to be wolves. This is not the first time Olaf has been at the center of a Frozen short. These also include Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, where the snowman is searching for a Holiday tradition and the At Home With Olaf shorts, that were made remotely back in April of this year.

Once Upon A Snowman is written and directed Trent Correy and Dan Abraham and this is not a new concept. Olaf was the first character that Correy ever animated and this has been an idea he’s had since working on the first Frozen film. Once Upon A Snowman looks to be a fun filled short that will show what Olaf was up to before he joined his family.

While Olaf is searching for his identity in the short based on what happens during Frozen, he clearly manages to find it as he introduces himself to Anna and Kristoff with the famed line, “I’m Olaf and I like warm hugs.”
