The Willow Disney+ series is taking shape as it adds three new actors to its cast.

Earlier this year Disney announced that they will be making a Willow sequel series, set around 30 years after the original was released. Warwick Davis will be returning as Willow Ufgood.

New Additions To Willow

A few days ago, Deadline reported that Ellie Bamber (Nocturnal Animals), Cailee Spaeny (The Craft: Legacy) and Erin Kellyman (Solo: A Star Wars Story) are in negotiations for the three female leads. In late October, we at The Illuminerdi exclusively revealed three female leads that were being cast for the upcoming show. It would reason to believe that Spaeny, Bamber, and Kellyman, were the actresses to secure those roles.

The director of the original film, Ron Howard, will be returning as an executive producer on the series with Bob Dolman, writer of the original film, serving as consulting producer. Jon M. Chu (Crazy Rich Asians) will be directing the pilot episode and will be the show runner for the series. The TV show promises to introduce all-new characters to the enchanted realm of fairy queens and two-headed Eborsisk monsters.
