After a long time of speculation, its now official: Rachel McAdams returns as Dr. Christine Palmer in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Deadline exclusively broke the news that she will be returning for the upcoming sequel of Doctor Strange (2016). She joins the cast including: Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Xochitl Gomez.
Rachel McAdams Reprises Her Role
There is little known about the plot but it seemingly will feature Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) trying to fix what Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) has started in the upcoming WandaVision Disney+ series: The creation of the Multiverse?!
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will, according to Deadline, start production after Cumberbatch finishes filming his part as Doctor Strange in the upcoming Spider-Man 3. While words on the streets are saying that the production has already started in London. We might know more after todays Disney Investors Call.
Sam Raimi (Spider-Man Triology) will direct the seque which is expected to hit theatres March 25th 2022.
