Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy, Dune) has been cast in his next action movie. As reported by Deadline, Bautista will star in the post-apocalyptic adventure Afterburn. This movie is a clear passion project for the producers, who first tried to launch the production in 2018.

Due to parent company Sony Pictures Entertainment’s past acquisition of Crunchyroll and a unification of fan services that was first announced in March 2022, the Funimation app and website will officially come to an end on April 2, 2024. That means the Funimation brand as we know it will be officially over.
