Fans are anxiously awaiting the upcoming Star Wars: The Clone Wars spin-off The Bad Batch and while not much is known, it looks like fan favorite character Bo-Katan could make an appearance. The final season of Clone Wars aired earlier this year and introduced a unique group of clone troopers. The first four episodes follows The Bad Batch, a mutated group of clones.
Each member of The Bad Batch has a different skill due to their mutation which includes the leader, Hunter, who has enhanced senses and can detect electromagnetic signals. The other members include Wrecker, who is larger and stronger than others, Crosshair, who is one of the greatest snipers in the galaxy because of his exceptional eyesight, and Tech the strategist and technology specialist due to his intellect and technical skills.
At the end of the arc in Clone Wars, Echo joined. Echo had been tortured and experimented on by the Separatists feeling he no longer belonged with the other clone troopers because of his cybernetic enhancements. However, Echo felt he would not only fit in with, but be an asset to The Bad Batch and joined them.
The Bad Batch will be set after the downfall of the Republic and the rise of the Empire with the mutated clone troopers working as mercenaries and trying to find their place in the world after the end of the Clone Wars. Now, not only are fans excited for the new animated series, but it looks like there might be even more reason to look forward to The Bad Batch.
According to Cinelinx, Bo-Katan will be making an appearance in the Clone Wars spin-off. Now, take this with a grain of salt, but it isn’t something that seems altogether outside the realm of possibility. Bo-Katan, voiced by Katee Sackhoff, first debuted on the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and appeared throughout the series’ run including the final arc, The Siege of Mandalore. Bo-Katan then appeared on the Heroes of Mandalore arc on Star Wars: Rebels.

Bo-Katan recently made her live-action debut, played by Katee Sackhoff, on The Mandalorian. Fans are hoping to see her return to The Mandalorian at some point and a resurgence of popularity has occurred. It would make sense that Lucasfilm would want to capitalize on that popularity and The Bad Batch would be a perfect place for it.
The Bad Batch covers a time that is shrouded in mystery when it comes to Bo-Katan and many others. At the end of Clone Wars she had dethroned Darth Maul and reclaimed the planet, but that was short lived with the rise of the Empire. In Rebels she receives the Darksaber and unites a number of Mandalorian clans to fight against the Empire to take back Mandalore.

In The Mandalorian Bo-Katan is searching for the Darksaber in order to become the leader of Mandalore after the mysterious purge wiped out most of the Mandalorians. If Bo-Katan does appear in The Bad Batch, fans could learn how the Empire took over Mandalore. Bo-Katan’s history is shrouded in mystery, but if she does make in an appearance on The Bad Batch more about her could be revealed.
