After all this time, we finally have confirmation. The first trailer for the highly anticipated Godzilla vs. Kong will be released January 24th.
After many delays the highly anticipated face-off between Godzilla and Kong was recently moved up to March 26, 2021 in theatres and on HBO Max, with the same model as Wonder Woman 1984. After that news fans were excited, but also making fun of the fact, that we still haven’t seen a trailer for a big blockbuster, that will be released in around two months.
Well, this will now change as the first Godzilla vs. Kong trailer is confirmed to be released Sunday, January 24, 2021. With that news, we also got our first look at the epic poster.

One interesting thing that this poster shows is that Kong has left Skull Island and has made it to a big city. We have to wait and see if he did that on purpose, or if he was forced to. Maybe by the events of Godzilla: King of the Monsters, or maybe even by humans, as we have seen Godzilla fighting on a big ship in a short clip from the last HBO Max advert.
Godzilla vs. Kong is the fourth movie in Warner Bros. and Legendary’s, Monsterverse, which includes Godzilla (2014), Kong: Skull Island, Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Godzilla vs. Kong. We will see the two big monsters collide in the upcoming battle with the epic tagline: “One will fall.”

After many short flashes, that show about 10 seconds of footage, it will be exciting to finally see a full trailer. Many expected one to drop during last years CCXP, as the opening reel gave us a few seconds of footage, but now that time has finally come.
The cast includes: Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Eiza González, Lance Reddick and Kyle Chandler. We have seen Millie Bobby Brown and Kyle Chandler before in Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
