DOCTOR DOOM
Fandomwire reported that Doctor Doom would be making an appearance in Black Panther 2. Possibly pulling the strings of the conflict between Wakanda and Atlantis.
Doctor Doom is notoriously Reed Richard’s nemesis, but the possibility of Marvel using Doom as the starting point could be a riveting an unexpected way to introduce the infamous scientist and sorcerer. Doctor Doom is a villain that is tied not only to the Fantastic Four, but Namor, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, The Avengers and more.

Introducing Doctor Doom through Black Panther 2 could be tied to Doom wanting access to Wakanda’s vibranium, but it could also tie into his relationship with Namor. Namor and Doom have been allies and enemies at different times usually depending on whether or not their goals align. Introducing Doom as the ruler of another secretive nation would be an intriguing aspect that would tie in well with Namor as leader of Atlantis and Wakanda in Black Panther 2.
VAMPIRES
Fans are beyond thrilled that Marvel will once again step into the shadows of vampires with Mahershala Ali being cast as the titular character in Blade. Blade is the famed vampire hunter, half vampire and half human. And while Blade himself isn’t connected to Namor, his prey has interesting ties to Atlantis. In Marvel comics Vampires originated from Atlantis, pre-sinking into the ocean.
Atlantean sorcerers used the Darkhold to resurrect their fallen enemies during war to fight for them. Unfortunately, the dark magic and influence of Chthon was too strong and these resurrected creatures could not be controlled and they slaughtered their creators. The vampires, including priest Varnae one of their own and the first vampire, fled Atlantis when Atlantis sank into the ocean.

Namor and the introduction of Atlantis opens up the possibility of exploring the birth of the vampire species within the MCU. Marvel could potentially introduce this aspect of vampire lore in the Blade reboot or as a way to set up the film and this corner of the Marvel universe before going fully into Blade hunting the night walkers.
THE ILLUMINATI
Namor has been a part of a number of teams throughout his time in Marvel comics and perhaps one of the most interesting ones is The Illuminati. Last July we revealed that Marvel was in the early stages of developing an Illuminati project and it looks like the MCU will be introducing a number of the members in the years to come.
In the comics The Illuminati is made up of Tony Stark aka Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Namor, Reed Richards aka Mister Fantastic, Professor Charles Xavier, and King of the Inhumans Black Bolt.
The only member in the MCU now is Doctor Strange after the death of Tony Stark. Namor will be introduced in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the Fantastic Four film is in development which will introduce Reed Richards, The Mutants is planned as a X-Men reboot which will surely include Charles Xavier at some point.

It’s possible that the MCU’s version of The Illuminati could be different than the comics, either in team members or in their practice. The Illuminati were originally a cabal working to control how the heroes of Earth responded to threats, but overtime the power, unsurprisingly, corrupted the group. Namor is an important member of this secret society and would be the second member in the MCU following Black Panther 2. This sets up the possibility for the group after other members are introduced and more cataclysmic events like Infinity War and the upcoming series, Secret Invasion occur.
