Just days before No Way Home‘s premiere, Producer Amy Pascal announced that both Marvel Studios and Sony would be making three more Spider-Man solo films featuring Holland in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Even Sony Pictures Chairman, Tom Rothman, confirmed that at least another, or one more, solo film starring Holland as everyone’s favorite Friendly Neighborhood superhero. To add to that excitement, both studios also confirmed that Holland’s Spider-Man will appear in another MCU crossover event, possibly another Avengers-style film.

Even Marvel Executive Producer and President, Kevin Feige, just recently gave fans promising and exciting news of the Web Head’s future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. During a recent interview with New York Times, Feige and Pascal teased on what was next for Holland’s Webhead in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Pascal was asked about Disney’s and Sony working relationship, and the Sony executive producer expressed hope, enthusiasm, and excitement that these two studios will work on more Spider-Man-related projects in the future.

We’re producers, so we always believe everything will work out. I love working with Kevin. We have a great partnership, along with Tom Rothman, who runs Sony and has been instrumental, a great leader with great ideas. I hope it lasts forever.””We’re producers, so we always believe everything will work out. I love working with Kevin. Feige then gave an exciting update for a 4th solo film stating that both studios are “actively beginning to develop” the story for Spider-Man 4.

“Amy and I and Disney and Sony are talking about — yes, we’re actively beginning to develop where the story heads next, which I only say outright because I don’t want fans to go through any separation trauma like what happened after “Far From Home” [the previous Spider-Man movie, in 2019]. That will not be occurring this time.”

Pascal then added that the ending of No Way Home will have a major impact going forward and both studios will have “a lot to work with” moving forward.

“At the end of the movie we just made, you see Spider-Man make a momentous decision, one that you’ve never seen him make before. It’s a sacrifice. And that gives us a lot to work with for the next film.”

With these comments from both Pascal and Feige, it’s safe to expect more exciting adventures for the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s version of the Wallcrawler. Spider-Man 4 is currently in development but Spider-Man: No Way Home is officially out now in theaters worldwide.
