In this episode of We’re Always Watching Kevin Fenix, one of our editors, Caitlin Tyrrell, features manager, and Brandon Zachary, writer on our creative team, discuss The Bob’s Burgers Movie. The Bob’s Burgers Movie follows the Belchers on a new adventure when a sinkhole opens up in front of their restaurant. While Bob and Linda try to find a way to make enough money to pay the bank the kids find themselves embroiled in a dangerous murder mystery.

In this episode of We’re Always Watching we talk about our own history with Bob’s Burgers, the sustainability of adult animation, the music of Bob’s Burgers and how it is elevated with choreography in The Bob’s Burgers Movie, and comparisons made between The Bob’s Burgers Movie and The Simpsons Movie.
We also share the insane experience of meeting the cast in person and how some of them, notably H Jon Benjamin, sound exactly like their character. An important element of Bob’s Burgers is the love and support the Belchers show each other which we not only discuss in the episode, but the cast and creators also talk about in our interviews.

We not only had the chance to attend the virtual press conference for The Bob’s Burgers Movie, but we also had the amazing opportunity to speak with the cast and creators of the series and movie at WonderCon. During our interviews the cast revealed which guest stars have been their favorite on the series and which Disney characters they’d like to see play with the Belchers. The creators talked about continuing the legacy of 2D animation and keeping to the same style of the series, but elevating it in the movie. Check out our full interviews below.
