Joker star Joaquin Phoenix will soon get to work once again with his partner and fiancee, Rooney Mara, for a new film. Variety reports that Hollywood acting powerhouse couple Phoenix and Mara are currently attached to star in a new period 1930s thriller for filmmaker Pawel Pawlikowski (Cold War, The Island) under the working title of The Island.
The upcoming Mad Max prequel, Furiosa, has wrapped production based on a recent Instagram post by actress and star Anya Taylor-Joy. Taylor-Joy shared the news earlier this week, sharing some photos and thoughts on the end of the shoot.

My Father’s Dragon is a new traditionally animated feature from the studio, Cartoon Saloon. Cartoon Saloon has an impeccable background, having worked on such amazing animated features as the Academy Award-nominated The Secret of Kells in 2009, The Breadwinner, and Wolfwalkers.
Attendees of the 2022 Animation Is Film Festival were treated to the world premiere of the English dub of One Piece Film Red, the latest anime theatrical installment of the smash-hit franchise, One Piece. The new film commemorates the 25th anniversary of Eiichiro Oda’s manga series. The film will be receiving a North American theatrical release next month, so fans at the AIF Festival got to watch the English-dubbed version early.
The House Party franchise is making a comeback next year in a new reboot produced by NBA star LeBron James. Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema recently dropped the official trailer for the upcoming reboot.
