It’s official! Robert Pattisnon will be returning as Batman for the upcoming sequel. The film is currently being called The Batman Part II and Matt Reeves will also be returning to direct the anticipated film.
There have been many delays, but the wait for Shazam: Fury of the Gods is almost up. With the film due out in March, Warner Bros. Pictures has finally released the official trailer for the film, with some brand-new footage.
DC Studios co-head James Gunn has officially taken to Twitter this afternoon to reveal that he is currently in the process of writing yet again another DC comics TV series. And here at the Illuminerdi, we are super excited.
It looks like Warner Bros. Discovery is not moving forward with any future plans for DC’s Black Adam for now. In a statement he released on social media on Tuesday (Dec. 20), Black Adam star and producer Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson revealed that after meeting with new DC Studios co-head James Gunn, the studio won’t be moving forward with the character for the “first chapter of storytelling” for the new DC Universe.
The hits just keep on coming for DC fans. Despite making a not-so-surprise cameo appearance in Black Adam just 2 months ago and confirming his return as the Man of Steel, Henry Cavill is officially out as Superman to make way for a new DCU overseen by current heads James Gunn and Peter Safran. After announcing the news, Gunn took to Twitter for a multi-part thread hinting at what’s to come for DC’s flagship superhero. He said,
