She-Hulk: Tim Roth Reveals Shocking New Information About Abomination’s Future In The New Disney Plus Series

Tim Roth reveals that She-Hulk will surprisingly feature Emil Blonsky aka Abomination in human form.

The MCU’s Phase 4 has already featured some intriguing surprises, and it looks like She-Hulk will continue this trend.

She-Hulk was already primed to be a unique series, given the sitcom style that hasn’t been fully explored in the MCU other than the early episodes of WandaVision. The series will also dive into the legal side of the MCU, an area that has yet to fully be explored. She-Hulk is also primed for some exciting appearances with Abomination already confirmed to make his return and rumors of Matt Murdock popping up in the MCU again after his unexpected appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

But the surprises aren’t over with. Abomination actor Tim Roth recently shared an intriguing revelation about what fans can expect from his character in the new series. Abomination’s fate was largely a mystery after he was taken away at the end of The Incredible Hulk, and many fans assumed it would stay that way until Disney Investor Day 2020 changed everything. The announcement that Tim Roth would be returning in She-Hulk came as an exciting surprise to many viewers.

Shang-Chi - Abomination

But even more shocking was his cameo appearance in Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings. Abomination, with a new more comic book accurate design, was in the fight ring squaring off against none other than Wong. What Abomination has been up to since his rampage and imprisonment in The Incredible Hulk is still a mystery, but one that will hopefully be solved in the new series.

In a recent interview with The DisInsider, Roth revealed a completely unexpected twist for his character in She-Hulk. When Roth was asked if he would regain his physical presence in the MCU Roth affirmed, “Oh yeah!” This was unexpected given that Abomination, unlike The Hulk, is famously unable to change back into his human form. How exactly his Emil Blonsky will regain his human form opens up some intriguing possibilities.

Roth wasn’t expecting to return to the MCU, but his excitement is clear and this new bit of information sets up some new potential stories for his character. Roth also teased that fans should expect “a bit of everything” from She-Hulk. During the interview he also praised series star Tatiana Maslany, who plays the titular character, calling her “a powerhouse.”

After The Incredible Hulk Bruce Banner has never truly been at the center of a story in the MCU although his character development throughout the Infinity Saga has been thrilling to watch. She-Hulk is an opportunity to fully explore the Gamma corner of the MCU through not only Banner, but Jennifer Walters and Emil Blonsky. The plot of She-Hulk is still largely a mystery, but the series will dive into this corner of the MCU like never before which is an area with a lot of story potential. And with the news of Blonsky’s transformation it seems there is even more than fans may have expected.
