WandaVision was a huge success for Marvel Studios and fans can’t wait to see how Wanda’s, aka Scarlet Witch’s, story continues in the Doctor Strange sequel.
Elizabeth Olsen Reveals Doctor Strange 2’s Tone
In an interview with Glamour, Elizabeth Olsen described Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness:
“It’s a bonkers movie. They’re definitely going for that horror show vibe.”
Back in 2019 at SDCC, the sequel was announced by Marvel head Kevin Feige and Scott Derrickson, who directed Doctor Strange, described it as “the first scary MCU movie”. He later dropped out of the project due to creative differences with Marvel Studios, which lead to Sam Raimi coming in to direct the movie.
With Olsen now talking about the horror aspect of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, it looks like some of the aspects of the film have stayed consistent since 2019.
